in less than two weeks, i purchase i made on ebay will arrive from russia.

i’ll be a member of the kiev 60 club. it was only two weeks ago my coworkers were talking about some previous, crazy coworker they had that was obcessed over russian cameras on ebay. wait til they hear what i’ve gone and done.

it reminds me of getting the lomo action sampler camera, finding a whole ‘nother world surrounding a particular toy. and now i’ve found my new toy. we’ll see.

this weekend i should work on this roll of film i shot for anthony.

saw league of extraordinary gentlemen with anthony and nick.

feeling a bit better. went into work for a bit. then went and saw charlie’s angels. :-)

i’ve decided to catch up on movies by myself. no more waiting for other people. tonight i saw terminator three: rise of the machines.

today i’m in a good mood from getting things done.

online with the new DSL tonight. tomorrow i’ll call comcast and cancel my cablemodem. i wonder if i’ll have to take off a half day from work to get that done.

my cubicle at work was moved by another director. he wanted me closer to his apps guys so i could provide better support. so now i’m in another building with the apps guys and program managers. they’re all cool guys, but there are some fundamental problems with me being over here.

first, office moves are never executed well, especially at smaller companies. i currently have all my books but not my bookshelf. i have no trashcan nor my telephone.

secondly, and more importantly, location location location. i’m now two buildings away from the data center, my peers, my supervisor, and my manager’s temporary office. not to mention the data center, which houses the machines i’m responsible for. i used to walk across the hall to visit the server room a few times a day. a few times, i noticed an alarm by inspecting things visually. now i have to go outside, walk down the parking lot to our other building. all the meetings i attend are in that other building. i’ll end up walking there every day for lunch. and every friday afternoon i’ll have to walk there again to do my weekly duties. i guess i’ll be doing a lot of walking. and ya, maybe i’ll give these guys better support, but not my entire day because i’ll be in the other building or outside walking.

i’ll keep quiet and see if my phone even gets moved.
